This book is a very enjoyable read. The story is easy to relate to and includes very "real and normal" people and their lives. The most interesting part of the book is the sequencing of the story telling process going from present to past quite often, to really enliven the characters. The author does a great job of showing the story and emotions form the view point of the 3 main characters of the story. The reader looks at the story through the eyes of a business man and later on by an artist and finally, the woman who connects the two and brings the book to a surprise and very conclusive ending.
