An extremely brave writer who holds Nothing back. I actually blushed for her while reading it.I recently met the author and her husband. Both are very organic, real and about as honest and open as a couple can be and still keep their clothes on. LOL And, I'm not referring to ANYTHING sexual, they are just REAL, not afraid to "expose" themselves with you and to share their thoughts and feelings about each other, their personal relationship and their relationships with other people and the world around them. Refreshing and delightful.

I LOVED this book of poetry. I generally find most poetry sort of boring and wanting but this caught and kept my attention throughout the whole book. Probably because every poem in it rang true for me in so many ways. -)
It was written in a style that I enjoy and it was very creative and funny as well.

Like John Travolta's character in the movie, Michael, this Angel -- the poet Angel Woolery -- is "... not that kind of angel." This one fearlessly picks the scabs off your wounds and lets your blood flow, but bleeding was never so sweet... and rewarding.
Angel's poetry is raw and uninhibited and not for the faint of heart. The intimacy of the work was at first a little awkward to read (as a manly man) but she draws the reader into the subject matter so well, with gorgeously vivd prose, that once begun it's difficult to turn away.
