Megatron has rejected his past, but that doesn't keep him safe from the Decepticon Justice Division. Meanwhile, Getaway is staging a mutiny on the Lost Light, all leading to a climactic showdown, and not everyone will come out the other side. Collects issues #50–55.
Transformers More Than Meets the Eye 20112016 Vol 10 eBook James Roberts Alex Milne Brendan Cahill
Volume 6 of the definitive Transformers (in any genre) is the beginning of a new arc. Megatron has become an Autobot after his trial for his role in the 4 million year war (this is not a spoiler - the cover has Megatron on it with an Autobot badge). This is a hard sell. I can't imagine the Russians accepting Hitler, the Americans welcoming Bin Laden or the Israeli's celebrating Al-Assad. Megatron killed more than those three combined and for an unimaginably longer period of time. It's hard to accept (even tougher than Magneto on the X-Men or Luthor on the Justice League).
That last paragraph out the way, it makes for an interesting, if not believable, story. The other flaw here is that Megatron dominates everything. He is the Donald Trump of the Transformers. Everyone, both Autobot and Decepticon, has a reaction and are, in a way, defined by him. Well established and fascinating characters like Tailpipe, Cyclonus, Chromedome and Ratchet are swept aside to give Megatron more page time. Even when he isn't on the page, his influence reigns over all.

Transformers More Than Meets the Eye 20112016 Vol 10 eBook James Roberts Alex Milne Brendan Cahill Reviews
Such a great read, and the comic came in great condition.
Finally back at Luna 1 since issue 21, very happy to see red alert and fortress maximus again.
Very nice story that takes a break from the lost light and sets up events toward the idw crossover.
IDW is amazing with the creative way in which they present our beloved characters in new stories. At this point I've been reading the IDW TF stories longer than I ever read the comics as a kid. The collection is particularly good, with Megatron confronting more of his old evils and coming full circle. Love it.
I love this series so much, but this volume broke my heartagain....damn you, Roberts.
The redemption of Megatron begins and this is when the series truly becomes fantastic.
Excellent story. Very strange to experience Megatron as an Autobot, but hey, it seems to work. Good art, too. Recommended.
From someone who reads a lot of different comic books, More Than Meets the Eye isn't just good "Transformers" comics... great comics period. Great plots/stories, clever dialogue (ranging from genuinely funny to emotionally moving), complex world-building (about the protagonists' culture & history). Great stuff! This volume is a good jumping-on point, as the book moves in a new direction, taking the interesting bits of the poorly-conceived "Dark Cybertron" story, and using the relevant changes to launch intriguing stories that have reeled me in!
